Phillips Precision Medicraft is seeking an Independent Medical Device Sales Reps (1099) calling on orthopedic OEMs in the United States. Independent Sales Reps are responsible for generating new sales opportunities for PPMs two divisions: Implant/instrumentation and Delivery Systems, Cases, and Trays.

As a goal-driven sales consultant, they are responsible for growing annual sales volume and revenue. Primary responsibilities include owning customer relationships, understanding and targeting implant/instrumentation, and delivery systems/cases/trays manufacturing business, plus developing and executing a sales strategy/forecast around those opportunities.

 

Phillips Precision Medicraft is expanding its network of independent sales reps with established relationships with mid to high-level orthopedic OEMs. Preferred candidates should have experience in the orthopedic medical device industry, particularly in Trauma, Spine, Large Joint, and Extremities areas.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Phillips Precision Medicraft is seeking motivated and innovative salespeople who know how to engage key decision-makers, who currently have relationships in the industry with a proven track record of converting business.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for finding new business opportunities.
  • Responsible for maintaining a sales funnel/pipeline with progress report on target accounts.
  • Responsible for attending company meetings and trainings as requested.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Promote and sell orthopedic implant and delivery systems products
  • Create a business plan and strategy to target mid to high-level orthopedic OEMs
  • Communicate with respective division principles on regular basis with progress/needs/feedback/suggestions

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years (continual) medical sales experience required
  • Work independently; be a self-starter
  • Conduct business with a high degree of accuracy
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to prioritize and plan
  • Display a high degree of organization
  • Set and maintain call patterns

 

Experience:

  • Medical Device Sales: 2 years (Required)

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s (Preferred)
