Medicraft supports many of the world’s largest global OEMs. In our quests for continuous improvement, we are introducing new advanced automation technology to bring a new exciting level of service and support. The technology enables our customers and us to get more done more efficiently and with a new level of collaboration.

Imagine virtual reality – without the silly goggles:

Visualizing a finished system has been limited to interpreting callouts on an engineering print or examining graphics laid out in the flat via pdf. Engineering models can offer some insight but lack the true look and feel of a finished product. Although these tools are and will be necessary until a prototype is manufactured and delivered, the final portrait of completed production is a well-educated guess…until now.

Medicraft is launching new technology to display complete 3D renders of your finished production before the first component is manufactured. Layouts, colors, and graphics are all presented in 3D. Using your mouse, you can rotate, pan, zoom, and get a 360˚ visualization of, well, your vision.

Additionally, the technology is web-based and operates through assigned portals. This allows you to share the portal link with those within your organization. Imagine the real-time collaboration on your next Zoom meeting.

Also, annotations can be added for future reference to design changes. The portal can also be populated with other documents relevant to the project that can be annotated, redlined, or otherwise marked up. Finally, a complete history of all of the notations is stored in the portal, along with any revision changes and/or approvals.

The new 3D-illustrated interactive workflow platform helps us accomplish the following essential goals;

  1. Provide a central location to collaborate on development and design changes, allowing users to communicate ideas seamlessly across the platform.
  2. Provide a higher level of detail versus the standard JPEGs or PDFs offered to customers today.
  3. Allows users to visualize the product better, delivering greater clarity and understanding of designs, which helps improve the Approval process.
  4. A great tool to conceptualize the finished product.
  5. Offer private customer areas with individual user roles: Viewer, Editor, and Approval.

Medicraft is excited to enter 2023 with this game-changing technology. To learn more, don’t hesitate to get in touch with your Business Development manager or email us at: info@PhillipsMedicraft.com.
